Crank Brothers Cobalt C Directset: Crank Brothers have taken the humble headset back to the drawing board and come up with the ultimate in lightweight, minimalist headsets. The Crank Brothers Cobalt C Directset omits the standard headset cup and replaces it with flanges incorporated directly onto the bearing itself. This results in a lighter, lower stack height headset that complements today's cross country race bikes. The Cobalt C Headset features custom made 28 ball sealed retainer bearings top and bottom that are warrantied for 5 years. Its outer races are formed from bearing steel with a black protective coating to keep them looking good. Weight - 65g Size - 1 1/8in.
